Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse to provide specialized perioperative care in a busy acute care hospital setting. The role involves managing complex cardiovascular surgeries and ensuring patient safety throughout the surgical process.

Responsibilities:

• Administer preoperative readiness assessments and prepare patients for CVOR procedures.
• Monitor and maintain patient stability during surgeries utilizing advanced cardiovascular equipment.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to clinical protocols.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and comprehensively.
• Respond to on-call emergencies, providing timely intervention as needed.
• Assist with postoperative recovery and monitor patient progress post-surgery.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current and valid state RN license.
• Possess current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years of acute care hospital experience.
• Have prior experience with DaVinci XI and CVOR procedures.
• Show proficiency in managing complex cardiovascular cases in a fast-paced environment.
