Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Woodstock, AL
Pay: Competitive – Based on Experience
Schedule: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire

 

Dedicated Personnel is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for a leading global supplier of materials and supply chain solutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically inclined individual with industrial maintenance experience who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, solving problems, and keeping production running efficiently.

 

This is not a facilities maintenance or groundskeeping position. We are looking for someone with hands-on experience maintaining and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment.

 

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot mechanical issues on production equipment and machinery.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Repair and replace bearings, motors, gearboxes, chains, belts, rollers, and other mechanical components.
• Assist with troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Perform routine inspections and identify potential equipment issues before failures occur.
• Work with production personnel to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Maintain maintenance records and complete work orders.
• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.

What We're Looking For

• Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or production environment required.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, bearings, gearboxes, and other industrial equipment.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics preferred.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience is a plus.
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings or maintenance manuals is preferred.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and attention to safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend, climb, kneel, and work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable working around heavy machinery and equipment.
