ABOUT THE COMPANY

Our client is an established manufacturer of electromechanical products with a strong market position in the renewable energy space. The Methuen area facility runs a fast-paced, made-to-order production environment with a tight cycle time and a team of approximately 30 production employees supported by three team leads

THE ROLE

Th e Production Supervis or will report directly to the Plant Manager and own the day-to-day supervision of the production floor. The right candidate is a credible, visible presence on the production floor — someone who earns respect through accountability, consistency, and day-to-day engagement with the team. WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Supervise daily assembly operations; ensure production targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met
• Lead, develop, and hold accountable a team of approximately 25 operators and 3 team leads
• Drive 5S implementation and sustain a clean, organized, and efficient production environmental
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, staffing issues, and equipment or material constraints in real time
• Work closely with team leads to set daily priorities and communicate expectations clearly across the floor
• Manage attendance, corrective actions, performance reviews, and day-to-day HR responsibilities in partnership with management
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives; contribute to process documentation and standard work
• Coordinate with planning, materials, quality, and engineering to ensure uninterrupted production flow
• Track and report production metrics; utilize ERP (Oracle NetSuite) and Google Sheets to manage workflow

WHAT YOU BRING

• 5+ years of manufacturing experience with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or team lead role
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse, multinational workforces — experience building trust and maintaining accountability across a varied team is essential
• Hands-on leadership style — this role requires daily floor presence, not office management
• Direct and consistent communicator; ability to set clear expectations and follow through
• Practical 5S experience — not just familiarity with the methodology, but documented implementation
• Lean manufacturing experience preferred
• Proficiency with ERP systems
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered

COMPENSATION

$80,000 – $85,000+ base salary, plus bonus opportunity. This is a direct-hire, permanent position.
