Managerial Accountant
Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | $20
Managerial Accountant Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
- Associate degree in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or financial controller role
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting principles
- Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and inventory accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access
- Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, Great Plains, or Vicinity Manufacturing
As a Managerial Accountant, your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with legal and company standards
- Develop and distribute internal financial reports to leadership
- Prepare documentation required for income tax filings
- Coordinate with external accounting firms for government and regulatory filings
- Oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and inventory clerical staff
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and financial audits
- Monitor financial performance and identify cost reduction opportunities
- Recommend strategies to improve revenue and operational efficiency
- Maintain accurate accounting records and general bookkeeping functions
- Ensure compliance with internal financial procedures and controls
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
- Collaborate with operations leadership to support business decisions
