Orthodontic Dental Assistant - Part-Time (2 Days Per Week) - Wednesdays and Fridays

We're a small but growing fully digital orthodontic practice with a cozy, comfortable environment that our patients and our team genuinely love. We're looking for an experienced orthodontic chairside assistant to join us!
This is a permanent part-time position: Wednesdays and Fridays, plus one Monday per month (hours are usually 8am–5pm). We want to be upfront about that from the start: we're not looking for someone who's settling for part-time, we want someone for whom this schedule is actually the right fit.
What you'll be doing: Assisting Dr. Davis chairside including preparing teeth for bracket placement and wire adjustments, prepping and sterilizing instruments, taking photos, scans, and x-rays, educating patients on appliance care and oral hygiene. You will be asked to manage patient records accurately, help keep the clinical flow running smoothly, and ensure supplies are stocked and ready.
Who you are: You're mature, reliable, able to multitask, and allergic to drama. You're a team player who takes pride in doing things right and treats every patient interaction like it matters. Prior chairside dental assisting experience is required. Orthodontic-specific experience is a plus but not required, we can train the right person. What we can't train is kindness, a calm presence, and a genuine eagerness to learn. Must be physically able to walk up a flight of stairs and maneuver around a small office.
Compensation: $25–$28/hour, based on experience.
