Registered Dental Hygienist – Solon, OH
Full-Time or Part-Time | Contemporary Private Practice | Outstanding Benefits
Our organization is on the lookout for a warm, talented, and patient-centered Registered Dental Hygienist to enhance our expanding team. Work Schedule
Options for Full-Time or Part-Time positions are available.
Flexible scheduling can be arranged for the ideal candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct dental cleanings, periodontal treatments, and preventive care
- Update patient medical histories and monitor vital signs
- Capture and evaluate digital X-rays, intraoral photographs, and iTero scans
- Perform periodontal evaluations, charting, and oral cancer screenings
- Evaluate caries risk and provide patient education on preventive measures
- Administer fluoride treatments and apply dental sealants
- Recognize potential dental issues and relay findings to the dentist
- Inform patients about oral hygiene, periodontal health, and treatment options
- Work alongside doctors and team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain precise clinical records
- Assist with the setup and turnover of operatories as required
Qualifications
- Valid Ohio Dental Hygiene License
- Current CPR Certification
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Experience with digital radiography and periodontal assessments
- Familiarity with Dentrix is preferred
- Experience with iTero is preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Friendly, reliable, and team-oriented demeanor
