Direct Support Professional Part-Time

Overview REM Community Services, a part of the Sevita family, provides community-based services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to assist individuals with personal hygiene and support those with behavioral challenges and other complex needs. Schedule & Compensation Pay $21.00 an Hour. Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Every Other Saturday/Sunday 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Responsibilities Be proud of rewarding work helping people grow, learn, and live well. Take initiative to help participants be part of the community and enjoy their favorite activities. Support participants with developmental goals such as budgeting, exercise, and nutrition. Assist people with personal hygiene and support individuals with behavioral challenges and other complex needs. Experience: Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred. Skills: communication, adaptability, multi‑tasking, teamwork, time‑management. Behaviors: patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible. Driver’s License: valid driver’s license for at least one year (post‑permit) and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance, with a clean Motor Vehicle Registration record that meets Sevita’s insurability policy.
