Express Lube Technician – Ellwood City, PA

McElwain Chevrolet is hiring an Express Lube Technician / Quick Lube Technician to join our automotive service team in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania.

Express Lube Technician Responsibilities

As an Express Lube Technician at McElwain Chevrolet, you'll perform essential vehicle maintenance services while helping our service department deliver a fast, professional, and customer-focused experience.

Responsibilities include:

Perform oil and filter changes
Complete tire rotations and tire pressure checks
Check and top off vehicle fluids
Perform multi-point vehicle inspections
Inspect tires, brakes, belts, hoses, filters, and other basic vehicle components
Replace engine and cabin air filters
Replace windshield wipers and other maintenance items
Assist with basic automotive maintenance and light repairs
Identify potential maintenance and repair needs during inspections
Communicate vehicle concerns to Service Advisors
Accurately document completed services and inspection results
Safely operate vehicle lifts, automotive tools, and service equipment
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
Follow Chevrolet, GM, and dealership service procedures
Help maintain an efficient flow of vehicles through the service department

Qualifications

McElwain Chevrolet is looking for dependable, motivated individuals who are interested in building a career in automotive service.

Preferred qualifications include:

Previous quick lube, dealership, tire shop, or automotive service experience is a plus
Basic automotive mechanical knowledge
Ability to safely use automotive hand and power tools
Strong attention to detail
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dealership service department
Willingness to learn and complete additional automotive training
Ability to work effectively with technicians, Service Advisors, and management
Valid driver's license

Entry-level automotive candidates are encouraged to apply.

Previous experience with Chevrolet, General Motors (GM), automotive dealerships, independent repair facilities, quick-lube centers, tire shops, or automotive service centers is helpful but not required.
