Essential Functions & Responsibilities: Answer telephone inquiries and direct calls to appropriate personnel; answer questions; manage security doorbell, check‑in and check‑out of visitors and temporary site personnel. Respond to inquiries from staff, parents, students, and public agencies to provide information, facilitate communication, and provide direction. Process confidential and non‑confidential documents such as student registrations, withdrawals, immunizations, attendance; prepare written materials (reports, memos, letters, newsletters). Perform clerical functions including copy, fax, file, sort mail, and support assigned staff with record keeping, scheduling, student tracking, and phone calls. Receive and process payments (e.g., lunch money, tuition, collections) and prepare reports as required. Assist students in the office (e.g., sick or injured, lost and found); may be required to obtain First Aid or CPR certification. Lift, push, pull, stoop, and lift up to 30 pounds as needed. Communicate effectively with diverse individuals while maintaining confidentiality. Maintain regular attendance and support a team environment through collaboration. Adapt to changing priorities, work with frequent interruptions, and meet deadlines under limited supervision. Perform other related duties as assigned. Minimum Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data‑based software. Strong spoken, written, and verbal English proficiency. Ability to operate standard office equipment (phone, copier, scanner, fax). Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Office 365, Publisher. Experience with Business Plus and PowerSchool. Experience in a K‑12 education or public employment environment. Bookkeeping skills. First Aid and CPR certifications. Document composition skills. Spanish or another language proficiency. Employee Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Work Environment & Physical Demands: The job requires lifting up to 30 pounds, stooping, kneeling, and crawling with typical sitting 60%, walking 10%, standing 30%.
