Experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist Needed

We're hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Aurora, CO where you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. The role requires managing ventilator and airway care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and documenting care in the facility's EMR.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate or bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science.
• Current state respiratory care license in good standing.
• Minimum 6 months of current acute care RRT hospital experience.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS required.
• NRP and PALS required.
• Current CRT or NBRC credential required.
• Experience with ventilator management and airway management.
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pediatric/NICU/PICU experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Hamilton G5/C1/T1, V60, Vyair Avea ventilators preferred.
• Energetic, team-oriented, and patient-focused interpersonal style preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 1900–0700.
• Typical unit procedures: ventilator management and airway management.
• EMR: Meditech.
• Equipment commonly used: Hamilton G5/C1/T1, V60, Vyair Avea.
