CT/X-Ray Technologist – Travel Contract

Facility: Leander FSED / St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center
Specialty: CT/X-Ray Technologist
Shift: Nights | 6:30 PM–7:00 AM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week
Contract: 13 weeks
Start: ASAP

Requirements

• ARRT (R)(CT) required
• TMB license required
• BLS required
• CT registry required
• Trauma/ED experience preferred
• Must be able to perform both CT & X-Ray
• Comfortable working independently

Unit Details

• 10-bed FSED
• 1 Imaging Tech + 2 Nurses + 1 Lab staff
• Equipment: GE 64-slice CT , Konica Digital X-Ray & Portable X-Ray
• EMR: Meditech
• PACS: Synapse
• Patient population: ED patients only — no outpatient exams
• Wide variety of emergency imaging procedures

Schedule

• Rotating weekend nights
• Week 1: Thursday, Friday, Saturday
• Week 2: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday
• Call: Optional
• Scrubs: Sage Green top + Black bottoms or all black for contract staff

Ideal Candidate: Experienced CT/X-Ray Tech with ARRT (R)(CT), TMB & BLS , strong ED/trauma skills, and the ability to independently handle a wide range of CT and X-Ray exams.
