This organization is undergoing a digital transformation to modernize workflows and improve operational efficiency. The Project Manager will play a key role in leading two immediate projects aimed at automating digital catalogs and streamlining customer portals.

Project Overview

Project 1: Automating Digital Catalogs and Product Specification Sheets

The first initiative involves automating digital catalogs and product specification sheets, with three main objectives:

• Engagement with the Marketing Team: Collaborate to gather requirements and gain insights.
• Identifying Data Gaps: Analyze existing workflows, outline missing or incomplete data, and define processes to bridge gaps.
• Platform Implementation: Introduce and integrate a platform to automate and optimize catalog management.

Project 2: Streamlining Customer Portals

The second initiative focuses on optimizing online customer portals for improved client access and service efficiency. This will require significant coordination, process refinement, and a strong focus on customer experience improvements.

Core Must-Haves

• Project Management Expertise: Proven track record of managing complex digital transformation projects.
• Relevant Experience: Hands-on experience in digital transformation or data-driven projects.
• Process-Oriented Approach: Demonstrated success with process changes and resource-impacting initiatives.
• Methodologies: Familiarity with both Waterfall and Agile approaches, with the ability to bridge concepts from both methodologies.
• Project Execution: Ability to maintain project momentum, manage risks, remove roadblocks, and ensure effective collaboration.
• Escalation Management: Comfortable escalating issues when necessary.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work across diverse personalities and business groups to meet project goals.
• Experience Level: Minimum of 5 years of professional project management experience.
• Technical Communication: Ability to translate project impacts and value into actionable insights for technical teams (engineering background not required).
• Adaptability: Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and facilitate necessary project pivots.

Education & Work Setup

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree preferred; recent relevant business experience (last 18 months) is more critical.
• Remote Work Flexibility: Position is 100% remote, though local candidates may be preferred.
• Agile Knowledge: Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and processes.

Hiring & Interview Process

• Start Date: Ideally within 1-2 weeks.
• Interview Process: One 30-minute panel interview with three key stakeholders: Caroline, Nick, and Rebecca.
