Job Description:

Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit working night shifts. The RN will work 36 hours per week, typically work every 3rd weekend, and cover one holiday. No on-call is required, but the RN may take a rare call day in times of fluctuating census/staffing.

Responsibilities:

• Provide cardiac step-down care, including heart cath recovery, cardiac drips, post-op open-heart, and other cardiac/med-surg step-down patients.
• Float to other units in times of low volumes or coverage crisis, as needed.
• Provide care for ventilated patients if required based on patient needs and staffing requirements.

Requirements:

• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum of three years of cardiac step-down experience.
• Experience with Open-Heart and Epic EMR required.
