Salary: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:00 PM or 7:00 AM-3:00 PM

We are seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to install, troubleshoot, and service industrial equipment at customer locations. This role serves as the primary technical resource for customers during equipment installations, commissioning, warranty support, and ongoing maintenance activities. Extensive domestic and international travel is required.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred
• Equivalent industry experience will be considered

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in field service, equipment assembly, manufacturing, maintenance, process engineering, or industrial equipment support
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial machinery
• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and industrial control systems
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, technical manuals, and specifications
• Valid driver's license and passport with the ability to travel extensively, including short-notice travel

Job Duties

• Install, start up, troubleshoot, and service industrial equipment at customer facilities
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, controls, and process-related issues
• Configure machine controls, drives, software, and communication systems
• Train customer personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety procedures
• Document service activities, technical findings, corrective actions, and customer feedback
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and customer teams on equipment upgrades and improvements
• Validate equipment performance and ensure customer specifications are met
• Travel extensively to support installations, maintenance, and technical service needs

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to travel extensively both domestically and internationally
• Ability to work independently in industrial and manufacturing environments
• May require standing, walking, bending, and working around industrial equipment
• Ability to safely perform troubleshooting and maintenance activities at customer sites

What You Will Do


As a Field Service Engineer you will perform responsibilities that support the daily operations of your assigned employer while following established procedures, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements. Duties may include operating equipment, working with customers, handling materials, preparing documentation, supporting administrative activities, using technology, collaborating with team members, or completing other responsibilities appropriate to the position. • Install, start up, troubleshoot, and service industrial equipment at customer facilities.
• Serve as the primary on-site technical contact for customers during installations, commissioning, warranty support, and ongoing service needs.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, controls, and process-related equipment issues.
• Validate equipment performance and verify products meet customer specifications and quality requirements.
• Configure system software, machine controls, drives, and communication systems to ensure proper equipment operation.
• Train customer personnel on equipment operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety procedures.
• Document service activities, technical issues, corrective actions, and customer feedback through detailed field service reports.
• Escalate recurring technical issues and communicate improvement opportunities to engineering and management teams.
• Work independently to evaluate equipment performance, identify root causes of problems, and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, sales, and customer teams to support equipment improvements, upgrades, and new installations.
• Identify opportunities for spare parts sales, maintenance services, equipment upgrades, and other value-added solutions.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts, including recommending equipment and process enhancements.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company and customer safety requirements.
• Travel extensively to customer locations to support equipment installation, maintenance, and technical service needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
