Radiology / Cardiology - Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer

Job Title

No holidays required. Weekend requirement: every fourth to fifth weekend rotation which happens in conjunction with call weekend rotation. Shift: 10D/40W or 8D/40W options. 4 day (10 hrs) or 5 day (8 hrs) hours: options 4 days (10 hr) 08:00 – 18:30 or 5 days (8hr) 08:00 -16:30. Guaranteed hours per week: 40 hrs. Call requirement: after hours standby one day per weekdays (M – F) and every fourth – fifth weekend rotation. Strong adult sonography experience with registry required (RDCS or CCI registry from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS). BLS Certification preferred. Structural heart program experience. Experience: 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, imaging with Definity contrast agent, Transesophageal Echo (TEE). Calculations: Simpson's Rule, Diastology, LV Strain/LV Volume, Proximal Isovelocity Surface Area. Float requirement: inpatient, outpatient, emergency dept, procedural settings at Bronson Methodist Hospital (BMH).
