Research Laboratory Technician III - Bio-Medical Sciences Department Under general supervision in the Coffin Lab, provides a wide variety of moderately complex laboratory testing and technical lab support for a research facility. Requires knowledge of the processes/procedures in testing, documenting experiments, maintaining laboratory notebook, analyzing data, and reporting using complex statistical computer software. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in related field of Science required 2+ year’s of research lab experience Experience with cell and molecular techniques including PCR, immunostaining, confocal microscopy Expertise in rodent models for biomedical research strongly preferred Experience managing lab personnel, coordinating chemical waste, ordering, and related lab management duties is preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Understanding of research methods, laboratory techniques, and care of laboratory equipment Ability to interpret data, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Detail oriented Analytical skills Strong work ethic, excellent written and communication skills, and the ability to work independently Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays depending upon research needs #J-18808-Ljbffr Creighton University
