Patient Care Technician (PCT)DaVita is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support patients with end-stage renal disease in an outpatient dialysis clinic. As a PCT, you'll provide direct, hands-on care under RN supervision, helping patients through life-sustaining dialysis treatment.Key details:3 to 4 days a weekMonday to SaturdayEarly start times can be 4:15 am and latest close time is 5pmYou must be able to open and close most daysMWFri – 4:15 am to 5 pmTTSat – 5:15 am to 12 pm (hours can change or expand as we grow in patient census).Starting pay to train is from $16.00-$16.99 and there are two opportunities during the first year to move up in clinical ladder level and pay.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver safe, hygienic, and compassionate dialysis careMonitor patients before, during, and after treatmentSet up and maintain dialysis equipmentRecord vital signs and patient dataEducate patients on treatment and kidney healthCollaborate with nurses, dietitians, social workers, and other care team membersRequirementsAccredited High School diploma, general education development ("GED") credential, or equivalent.
