AI Solutions Consultant

NGS is a defense-focused geospatial technology company building open, vendor-neutral software for federal and commercial clients. Our AI advisory practice helps companies safely adopt and scale AI across their business. The Role: This is a senior, client-facing consulting role. You will run AI advisory engagements end to end, from discovery through rollout and into long-term support, and own the client relationship throughout. You are the bridge between the client and our development team. You translate business needs into clear requirements our engineers can build, then bring the delivered functionality back to the client and make it stick. You are not a software engineer, but you are fluent enough in how software gets built to be trusted by both sides. What You Will Do: Own client engagements end to end: discovery, security and access setup, workflow design, rollout, training, and handoff to long-term support Translate client business requirements into technical scope for our development team, and manage delivery back to the client Design and tune AI workflows on the client’s own document store and tools (Claude, Gemini, Copilot) Own client relationships and retention, and surface follow-on work Bring discipline and judgment to how engagements are run, and help improve our methods over time What You Bring: 8+ years in management or technology consulting (Accenture, Deloitte, or similar) or client-facing professional services delivery A track record owning client relationships and delivering outcomes, not just adviceDemonstrated ability to translate business requirements to technical teams and manage delivery alongside engineers Working fluency with modern AI tools and a point of view on how businesses should adopt them Strong written and verbal communication, with executive presence in front of client leadership Nice to Have: Experience running a business or a P&L, or building and leading a team Familiarity with data security and governance in regulated or sensitive environments Background working with software product or development organizations Compensation: Competitive senior-level base plus performance upside. #J-18808-Ljbffr
