PRODUCT OWNER

THIS IS AN IN-OFFICE POSITION IN TROY, NY

Fusco Personnel is seeking a Product Owner who excels at connecting business objectives with technical execution. In this role, you'll work closely with stakeholders and engineering teams to transform business needs into scalable product solutions while ensuring alignment between customer value, business goals, and technical requirements.

Duties

• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, backlog refinement activities, and stakeholder reviews to drive product success
• Analyze and document business processes, workflows, system interactions, and integration requirements across platforms
• Translate business and technical requirements into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlog items
• Collaborate with stakeholders and engineering leadership to evaluate tradeoffs, manage priorities, and balance business value with technical constraints
• Own and prioritize the product backlog and release roadmap to support strategic objectives and customer needs
• Identify risks, dependencies, and opportunities for process and system improvements
• Develop and execute test plans, perform functional QA, and validate requirements to ensure high-quality product releases
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement and successful product delivery
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support team and organizational goals

 

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analysis, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating business and system requirements
• Proven ability to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and business rules
• Working knowledge of APIs, system integrations, data flows, and system dependencies
• Experience working within Agile environments and collaborating with technical teams

Salary: $70-80k
