The Cath Lab Nurse Director will lead a high-performing cardiac cath lab, also known as a cardiovascular catheterization lab and invasive procedure lab, purpose-built for throughput, precision, and outstanding care. This environment emphasizes efficiency, advanced hemodynamic monitoring, intravascular imaging (IVUS/OCT), physiologic assessment (FFR/iFR), and seamless STEMI workflows designed for faster door-to-balloon times and better outcomes. Aligned with the hospital’s strategic cardiovascular service line, the Clinical Nurse Director Cath will oversee process improvement, device evaluation, and cross-team readiness that fuels efficiency, advanced imaging, and better patient outcomes. The Cath Lab Nurse Director will own strategy, operations, and quality staffing and scheduling, call coverage, budget and capital planning, vendor relations and supply chain, radiation safety, accreditation preparedness, policy development, registry participation, throughput optimization, and patient experience.
