Job Description:

This is a senior delivery leadership role focused on coordinating large-scale data platform engineering initiatives across multiple technical teamsThe role combines Agile program delivery, technical coordination, architecture governance, and executive communication.

The position is responsible for ensuring platform initiatives move effectively across engineering, architecture, product, and leadership stakeholders while maintaining alignment, visibility, and delivery accountability.

Core responsibilities include:

• Leading scaled Agile execution activities including: PI Planning Dependency mapping Cross-team coordination Delivery governance
• Driving program-level coordination across 4–5 engineering teams
• Leading and coordinating cross-platform squads, including: AI-focused initiatives in partnership with Product Management AWS and SageMaker Unified Studio (SMUS) implementation teams Access pattern implementation efforts
• Supporting architecture governance processes by: Running weekly governance ceremonies Tracking architecture decisions and dependencies Ensuring alignment between platform and engineering standards
• Managing delivery risks, blockers, timelines, and stakeholder communication
• Supporting platform-level operational reporting and execution tracking
• Producing release notes, leadership updates, and executive readouts
• Facilitating collaboration between engineering leadership, architects, delivery teams, and product stakeholders

This role is best suited for someone who can operate as both:

• A strong Agile delivery leader
• A technically credible program coordinator within cloud and data platform environments
• The role requires a hybrid combination of technical understanding and Agile delivery leadership.

Future duties and responsibilities

The primary focus of this role is leading Agile delivery execution across multiple highly technical platform engineering teamsThe position is less about hands-on engineering and more about ensuring complex workstreams remain aligned, coordinated, and successfully delivered within a scaled Agile environment.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Key skills include:

• Strong technical foundation in cloud and data platform ecosystems
• Experience leading scaled Agile / SAFe delivery environments
• Expertise with JIRA and Agile delivery tooling
• Ability to communicate effectively with: Engineers Architects Product teams Executive leadership
• Experience coordinating highly interdependent platform programs
• Ability to balance Agile coaching with technical delivery oversight

Technical familiarity is expected with modern platform technologies such as:

• AWS
• SageMaker Unified Studio (SMUS)
• Snowflake
• DBT
• Kafka / Confluent
• Airflow
• Datadog
