Senior Experiential Producer - NYC (6 Month Contract) New York City, New York What the Role Is Babylist is hiring a Senior Experiential Producer for a 6-month engagement who's comfortable leading the strategy, creative direction, and production of events — from marquee Registry Weekend events to partner-sponsored showroom takeovers and brand pop-ups. You'll take a loose brief and own it end to end: concept, creative, vendors, budget, and show-running inside our NYC showroom in Soho. You own how each individual event is conceived and brought to life. Expect several events moving at once, each at a different stage, from early concept through post-event recap. Events you’d be responsible for and expected to be on site for: Overview of Events, Pop-ups and Brand Activations October 10/27 Venue Rentals: A partner-rented panel discussion hosted in our owned-and-operated space. The producer serves as the primary venue point of contact — leading walkthroughs, sharing our approved vendor list, and handling the logistics that let the outside team produce smoothly on their own. November 11/9 and 11/10 Venue Rentals: Two partner-rented activations in our owned-and-operated event space. With back to back events, producers will need to ensure that load in and break down is done seamlessly. December 12/5–12/6 Registry Weekend: Babylist's signature two-day consumer event welcoming 2,000 people in our showroom featuring approximately 8–10 brand partners, educational programming, product demonstrations, gifting, food and beverage, and immersive guest experiences. 12/9: Social Impact Event: A custom partner-sponsored showroom experience featuring branded storytelling, product education, curated guest experiences, décor, food and beverage, gifting, and influencer programming. January 1/14 and 1/28: Babylist-produced Event: Two custom partner-sponsored showroom experiences featuring branded storytelling, product education, curated guest experiences, décor, food and beverage, gifting, and influencer programming. February 2/6–2/7 Registry Weekend: Babylist's signature two-day consumer event welcoming 2,000 people in our showroom featuring approximately 8–10 brand partners, educational programming, product demonstrations, gifting, food and beverage, and immersive guest experiences. Who You Are Comfortable leading strategy, concepting, and production of an event, start to finish — this isn't a role where someone else hands you the concept. Deeply plugged into the brand activation + experiential world — you know what the coolest brand activations out there look like, you know what's trending, and you have impeccable taste to bring it to life. Able to originate the concept yourself — you can build a mood board and a full concept deck from scratch, not just execute someone else's vision. Track record producing design-driven brand experiences and pop-ups — you know the process of turning a brief into a full-blown event, from décor to negotiating with vendors to custom fabrication. Able to run large and small-scale event productions — you feel just as comfortable executing a 500+ person event at the Babylist Showroom as back-to-back 10–15 person influencer gatherings on consecutive weekends. Comfortable holding several events at overlapping stages at once — one in planning, one in production, one in recap — without dropping a thread. Experienced building and managing vendor budgets (catering, rentals, florals, fabrication, AV, photography) and keeping production on time and on budget. You naturally reach for AI in your work — at Babylist, every team uses AI daily. You're already using it to move faster and improve your output, and you stay curious about what's coming next. How You Will Make An Impact Set the strategy and concept for individual events — mood boards, decks, layouts, décor, spatial planning — then produce them yourself, concept through strike. Produce Babylist's signature Registry Weekend events in New York and lead partner-sponsored showroom experiences, from 15-person influencer gatherings to 500+ person multi-programming events. Turn concepts and approved briefs into real production plans, timelines, and workbacks, and lead the planning meetings that keep internal teams and vendors aligned. Source and manage production vendors — rentals, florals, fabrication, AV, photography, signage, catering — and oversee logistics from delivery through installation and breakdown. Run load-in, show, and strike onsite, owning the run of show and troubleshooting in real time. Wrap up production post-event, document learnings, and feed them into Babylist's internal recap process and the next event's planning. Keep a rolling calendar moving — often conceiving the next quarter's Registry Weekend while still executing the current one About Compensation We use a market-based approach to compensation.
