Trinity Memory Care is looking to hire a Cook for our Dining Services Department.

Responsibilities

Assist in preparation of a wide variety of scratch cooking menu items.
Able to follow standardized recipes.
Cleans and maintains work areas, utensils, and equipment.
Consistently maintains standards of quality, presentation, and flavor of foods.
Works closely with team members, caregivers, dietary aides, dishwashers, management
Previous cooking experience in a healthcare setting strongly desired.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and work independently.
Must be dependable.
Shifts are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday (6a-6p) and Wednesday (6a-12p)
Must be able to work independently.
Must successfully pass AHCA level 2 background check and drug screening.
Medical, Dental, Vision insurance is offered beginning after 60 days.

Job includes cooking/serving/plating 3 meals a day for residents in dining room and preparing daily snacks. Menu has been created by a registered dietitian and is to be followed (substitutions can occur) which provides 2 feature entrees at every mealtime (8am,12pm,5pm) and an "always available" menu selection.

Previous cooking experience in healthcare setting preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
