Registered Nurse - Float

Unit Description Alice Hyde Medical Center is a 25‑bed acute care facility with an 11‑bed Emergency Room. The ED sees 35‑55 patients in a 24‑hour period, operating with 11 beds and four additional hall beds to accommodate volume surges. Nurses are required to have one year of Med/Surg experience; critical care experience is preferred. The incumbent of this position will float between the Emergency Department, Med/Surg, and Critical Care. Must successfully complete the Arrhythmia/ICU class, equivalent, or receive a passing grade on the Challenge Exam. ACLS and BLS training and updating are required (PALS, ATLS, and CCRN encouraged). On‑Call Not required Requirements Current RN licensure recognized by the State of New York is required. Appropriate experience in the specific clinical area; varies by unit.
