Position Overview:

We are seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join our independent primary care practice in Bangor, ME. This role offers a predictable schedule, no call responsibilities, and the ability to focus on quality patient care over volume.

What to Expect:

Flexible Schedule Options: Standard Monday - Friday (8 AM - 5:30 PM) or 4x10-hour shifts available. (Last appointment at 4:40 PM.) EMR System: NextGen No Call Responsibilities Patient Load: 12-15 patients per day 30-minute standard visits 1-hour Annual Wellness Visits Complex patients seen 6-8 times per year Patient Demographics: Primarily seniors, some pediatric cases Independent Practice (not hospital-affiliated) Referral System: Utilizes Anthem PicassoMD for referrals Lab & Urgent Care Support: Partnership with LabCorp Urgent Care Center conveniently located next door

Compensation & Benefits:

Qualifications:

MD/DO with active & clear medical license in the state of practice Board-Certified in Family Medicine (FM) or Internal Medicine (IM) Active DEA License Clinical experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or ambulatory care settings
