Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12-Hour Shifts) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-risk Labor and Delivery unit, including management of inductions, antepartum, and OB triage patients
• Deliver nursing care across LDR rooms, OB triage, antepartum, OR suites, and PACU within the unit
• Monitor and assess third-trimester testing patients and manage an active triage patient influx
• Participate in charge nurse responsibilities or train toward charge nurse role as needed
• Float to like units within the facility or affiliate locations as needed to meet staffing demands
• Document all patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska RN license (pending license accepted at time of submission; license must be in hand prior to start)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Permanent address must be located at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior charge nurse experience in Labor and Delivery or willingness to train in a charge role
• Experience with Epic electronic health records system
• Familiarity with high-risk obstetric patient populations
