Introduction
Our Montessori kindergarten is located in the beautiful East Taihu Lake Suzhou Bay, in the central area of Wujiang Taihu New Town. This is an international Montessori kindergarten founded by a couple of overseas returnees. At present, the kindergarten is a member school of the American Montessori Society (AMS), a member of the Chinese affiliated association of the International Montessori Association, and a member school of the Montessori Association of Utah, USA. It is also the only pure Montessori kindergarten in Suzhou where all the teachers have AMS/AMI certification.
As a high-end international Montessori kindergarten, we adheres to the tenet of "Education for LIFE", relies on the Montessori education method as the core concept, draws on the aura of ancient and modern education, takes the essence of Chinese and Western education, and cultivates young citizens of the world with both humanistic feelings and scientific pursuits and an international vision.
The campus covers an area of 15 acres, with a construction area of about 10,000 square
meters, an outdoor activity area of more than 7,000 square meters, and an investment
of nearly 100 million yuan. The overall design is carefully created by well-known
designers of a number of listed companies, and introduces the most advanced early
childhood education design concepts in the United States and Canada, highlighting the
concept of simplicity, green environmental protection and people-oriented, equipped
with nearly 20 bright large-scale open teaching activity rooms, advanced constant

Job Description
We are seeking a passionate Teacher to join our international kindergarten. The ideal
candidate will foster a child-centered, English-immersion environment that aligns with
Montessori principles, nurturing independence, curiosity, and holistic development in
children aged 2–6.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain an authentic Montessori classroom environment (practical life,
sensorial, language, math, cultural).
Conduct individualized and group lessons based on Montessori pedagogy.
Observe and document children’s progress, adapting methods to meet developmental
needs.
Guide children in developing social-emotional, cognitive, and motor skills through
Montessori materials.
Promote English language acquisition through immersive, natural communication.
Work with bilingual assistants and local teachers to ensure a cohesive learning
experience.
Communicate regularly with parents (e.g., meetings, progress reports).
Cultivate a respectful, inclusive, and peaceful classroom community.
Uphold Montessori standards of order, cleanliness, and child autonomy.
Participate in all the kindergarten’s activities, including marketing activities like open
days, etc
Work schedule:
Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week
Requirements:
Native English speaker
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Early Childhood Education or related field.
TESOL or TEFL certificate
Teaching Experience preferred
