Housekeeper Opportunity

Assisting Hands - Matteson is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Housekeeper to join our caring team in Matteson, IL! In this role, you'll make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients by creating clean, safe, and comfortable living environments. Responsibilities:

• Perform general housekeeping duties including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common living areas
• Change bed linens and assist with laundry tasks
• Organize and tidy living spaces to maintain a safe and clutter-free environment
• Follow client care plans and adhere to specific household preferences and routines
• Communicate effectively with clients and supervisors regarding any concerns or changes in the home environment
• Maintain cleaning supplies and report when items need to be restocked

Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping, cleaning, or home care experience preferred
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and care plans
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Compassionate, respectful, and professional demeanor when working with clients
• Reliable transportation and ability to commute to client locations in the Matteson, IL area
• Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
• Must pass a background check
