Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in Labor/Delivery (L&D) will provide care for obstetric patients, demonstrating an ability to read fetal strips and manage titratable drips. The nurse must be adaptable, possess strong critical thinking skills, and communicate effectively while potentially floating to Medsurg and ER.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
• Titrate and manage pitocin, insulin, and magnesium drips
• Provide couplet care for patient and newborn according to guidelines
• Float to Medsurg and ER as needed within skillset

Requirements:

• Current BLS Certification
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• Previous travel experience
• Ability to follow quality metrics and critical thinking skills
