Comprehensive Rehab Consultant
Position information: Yorktown, VA, Williamsburg, VA. This is a 40‑hour, full‑time W‑2 role. Benefits Great health insurance including medical, vision, and dental coverage Short‑term disability, life insurance, and critical illness coverage Generous PTO package Flexibility in hours (usually around 9AM – 4PM) Highly competitive salary and generous bonus $1000 continuous education reimbursement and training Full‑time virtual scribe for documentation (value $1368/month) Opportunity to earn a minimum of 33 CEUs at no cost Access to CRC’s physiatry certification and CEU credits 401(k) plan with 2‑3% annual contribution 100% malpractice insurance coverage Provided laptop Remote personal medical assistant for preparing new patient notes No obligation to work evenings, weekends, or be on‑call Technology‑based solutions to innovate patient care models and reduce administrative burden for clinicians Responsibilities Provide specialized Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)/Physiatry services as a rehab consultant Represent CRC in the facility through strong clinical leadership and collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team Collaborate with PCP teams to manage conditions common in SNFs, such as CVA, progressive neurological conditions, and postoperative orthopedic surgeries Work alongside PT, OT, and SLP teams to improve patient function and quality of life Follow therapy patients to track progress in therapy Assess and collaborate on managing barriers to therapy, including joint or neuropathic pain, spasticity, neurogenic bowel, neurogenic bladder, and more Attend multidisciplinary meetings and bridge the gap between therapy and internal medicine Engage in culture‑building opportunities and ongoing education, including monthly didactic lectures, virtual meetings with the regional team, and annual regional dinners Ideal CRC Clinician Passion for post‑acute healthcare and serving the geriatric population SNF or post‑acute experience (preferred) Confidence to function autonomously Desire for continuous improvement and ability to embrace change and growth Strong interpersonal skills and understanding of facility partners’ and patients’ needs Empathy and compassion Desire to invest in company culture Qualifications NP/APRN/PA credential Virginia license Ability to work in the U.S. Experience in post‑acute space is preferred Great attitude and desire to deliver the best patient care 40 hours per week Job Details Job type: Full‑time. Pay: $112,000.00 – $132,000.00 per year. Schedule: 8‑hour shift with flexibility, usually 9AM – 4PM; 5‑day work week with flexible days between Monday – Friday. Supplemental pay: Bonus pay. Relocation: Reliable commute or plan to relocate before starting; positions in Yorktown, VA, and Williamsburg, VA. License/Certification: Nurse Practitioner/APRN/PA plus Virginia license.
