Associate Manager of Parking - OSU Wexxner Medical

Associate Manager The Associate Manager is responsible for ensuring high levels of client, customer and associate satisfaction at a designated Towne Park location. Key responsibilities include managing delivery of guest/patient services; hiring, training, evaluating and discharging associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; financial management and reporting; addressing customer complaints; and managing a minimum of two associates. Key Responsibilities Ensure that the guest service experience is delivered exceptionally and consistently on all shifts (15%). Efficiently allocate labor resources to support service delivery, reducing staffing levels if business conditions dictate (20%). Engage in recruitment and hiring processes to ensure best people are selected for the location (15%). Assist the Account Manager in establishing guidelines so employees understand expectations; provide orientation and training; conduct performance appraisals and coaching (20%). Develop cohesive working relationships with the client’s staff; maintain regular meetings and communication; ensure team focuses on exceeding expectations (15%). Understand and drive business metrics for forecasting, productivity, claims, customer service and turnover; ensure accurate revenue reporting; supervise reconciliation at end of shift (15%). Compensation and Benefits Competition, fair, commensurate compensation based on skills, experience, education or training, and location. Employees may be eligible for annual incentive bonuses depending on classification. Paid Time Off: accrue 0.0385 hours of PTO per hour worked up to a maximum of 80 hours per calendar year; 6 paid holidays and up to 4 paid floating holidays per year. Qualifications Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent degree preferred. Licensure: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Experience: Minimum one year related experience in hospitality. Knowledge: Towne Park’s safety and security procedures, driving policies, accident reporting, equipment training, claim check, ticketing, key box training, customer confidentiality, business writing, accounting, metrics, client’s facility and amenities. Skills: Manual transmission driving, computer proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook); technology and point-of-sale applications; effective presentation; written and verbal communication; ability to handle guest/patient complaints; courtesy, sense of urgency, safety awareness. Authority: Acts independently with minimal supervision; makes day‑to‑day operational and financial decisions; handles hiring and discharging associates; budgets resources only. Working Conditions & Physical Demands Regular speaking, hearing, sitting or standing for extended periods; may run, walk, handle objects, reach, climb stairs, balance; vision requirements; lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally. Travel up to 10% may be required.
