Position Overview BayCare Medical Group is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a busy Pediatric Hematology and Oncology practice located at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida. This full‑time Advanced Practice Provider works with a team of six physicians. Primary responsibilities include inpatient consults, patient rounding, performing history and physical examinations on new admissions, lumbar punctures, administering chemotherapy, and bone marrow aspirates and biopsies. Occasional clinic duty may be required. Call responsibilities include one weeknight and one weekend shift approximately every 5–6 weeks. Responsibilities Assist with inpatient consults and patient rounding. Perform history and physical examinations on new admissions. Execute lumbar punctures and bone marrow aspirates/biopsies. Administer chemotherapy and related treatments. Provide occasional clinic support. Maintain 5–6 week call rotation with one weeknight and one weekend shift. Qualifications Florida licensure. Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant board certification. Experience in pediatrics (required). Experience in pediatric hematology/oncology (preferred). Benefits Competitive salary.
