Senior Project Manager-Pharmaceutical

Job Summary:

The company is seeking an experienced Project Manager II to support strategic initiatives and long-range business planning efforts within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for leading cross-functional projects, developing project strategies, managing timelines and budgets, and ensuring successful execution of business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills while working effectively across matrixed teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, objectives, and deliverables

• Lead cross-functional teams to execute projects while ensuring alignment with business goals and operational priorities

• Translate project plans into actionable tasks and monitor progress against scope, schedule, and budget

• Coordinate and facilitate stakeholder communications, project governance activities, and status updates

• Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and project updates to leadership and key stakeholders

• Identify project risks, conduct risk assessments, and develop mitigation and contingency plans

• Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, quality standards, and regulatory requirements

• Drive process improvements and recommend innovative solutions to enhance project performance and efficiency

• Manage competing priorities and proactively address project challenges and roadblocks

• Support resource planning, workload management, and successful project execution across multiple initiatives

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Science, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience within manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, quality, operations, or related business functions

• Experience working in a matrixed, cross-functional environment

• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities

• Experience with stakeholder management and executive-level communication

• Proficiency with project management methodologies, tools, and reporting systems

• Strong organizational and workload management skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and project management software

Preferred Qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

• Master of Business Administration (MBA)

• Experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or highly regulated manufacturing environments

• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, and business financial systems

• Experience supporting product launches or strategic business transformation initiatives

Pay Range: $60/hr to $65/hr
