Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching License or certification (state-specific requirements may apply)
• Experience supporting students in K-5/elementary settings preferred
• Solid understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring
• Ability to modify and adapt curriculum based on individual student needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and staff
• Reliability and commitment to the full school year contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver specialized instruction for elementary students with varying abilities
• Develop, update, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and support staff to implement inclusive practices
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress
• Create a safe and nurturing learning environment for all students
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to school/district policies
