Personnel Plus Inc. is hiring a skilled Pipe Fitting Welder to join our team. This position involves mobile welding repairs, fabrication, and field service work. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-focused, and capable of working independently in various field environments.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: DOE (Depending on Experience)
• Full-time position
• Schedule varies based on workload
• Occasional extended weekday hours (past 6 PM)
• Winter hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Summer hours: 8:00 AM - varies by job demand
• Occasional Saturday overtime during spring and summer

Responsibilities

• Perform mobile welding repairs and fabrication in the field
• Assist with farm and heavy equipment repairs (frames, loader arms, mounts, etc.)
• Fabricate and repair irrigation systems (pump and pivot tie-ins)
• Remove and replace bearings, shafts, and related components
• Load and organize tools and equipment for service trucks
• Operate forklift and backhoe safely when needed
• Maintain safety standards and proper PPE use
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience

• Pipe fitting and welding experience (Stick & MIG required)
• Aluminum welding required
• Stainless welding experience preferred but not required
• Strong fabrication and mechanical repair skills
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Basic measurement and math skills
• Equipment operation experience (forklift/backhoe preferred)
• Uphill welding experience is a plus

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record (must be insurable)
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass drug/alcohol screening and background check
• Strong punctuality and work ethic
• Ability to provide job references
• Must supply basic personal tools (wrenches, sockets, clamps, etc.)
• Work boots required
