Students at Firestone Charter Academy develop a foundation of wisdom prepared to be life-long learners, positive role models, and virtuous citizens.Position Title: Facilities ManagerReports to: PrincipalSalary Range: $50,000-$60,000Position Description: Responsible for care and maintenance of assigned building(s) in accordance with set standards and laws.Essential FunctionsPlan, direct, and coordinate operations for school facility(ies).Oversee the daily cleaning and maintenance of assigned building(s).Operate building systems, including HVAC, fire protection, security control, lighting, and safety.Supervise all facilities personnel as well as provide applicable training.Participate in decisions related to maintenance and operation of the buildings and infrastructure, technology operations and replacement, architectural design and renovation, and the safety and security of the campus and its personnel.Direct procurement, maintenance and upgrades of furniture and utilities.Perform preventive maintenance work, paint, replace bulbs and ballasts, and replace glass as needed.Complete inventory reports, daily cleaning and maintenance reports, and supply orders.Oversee facility setups as needed, and furniture and equipment relocation.Demonstrate an understanding of the Imagine Schools Six Measures of Excellence in the execution of duties.Model positive character virtues and habits. Assist students in developing positive moral and performance character attributes.Perform other duties as assigned by Principal/School Leader.Preferred QualificationsEducation: Bachelors Degree or Associates Degree in related field.Experience: 3-5 years maintenance or facilities experience.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Strong analytical, leadership, project management and organizational skills. Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of building layouts, systems and controls. Ability to make informed decisions in an environment with very little direct supervision. Flexibility to deal with operational problems and emergencies. Ability to perform in a physically demanding environment. AHERA and OSHA regulation knowledge.
