Experienced Family Law Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced family law attorney to join its Goodyear, AZ office. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of substantive Arizona family law experience and be adept at managing a caseload from consultation to resolution. This role requires courtroom confidence, client responsiveness, and the ability to handle a busy practice with professionalism and compassion. Duties Manage a caseload involving divorce, legal decision-making, parenting time, and related issues. Conduct initial consultations and provide legal analysis and case strategy. Draft and review legal documents including pleadings and motions. Prepare for and participate in hearings, trials, and mediations. Communicate with clients professionally and compassionately. Develop case strategies and offer practical legal advice. Collaborate with legal assistants, paralegals, and attorneys. Stay current on Arizona family law statutes and court rules. Meet reasonable billable-hour expectations. Contribute to firm systems, processes, and client service improvements. Requirements Active member in good standing of the State Bar of Arizona. Minimum of 4–5 years of substantive family law experience. Experience managing family law cases independently. Courtroom experience, including contested hearings and trials. Strong legal research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Excellent judgment and case strategy development skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Professional and compassionate client communication. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Arizona. Skills Strong legal research and writing skills. Effective negotiation and advocacy abilities. Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
