About the Position

Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Inpatient Rehabilitation – Lawton, OK Relocation Candidates Welcome

We are seeking a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week contract in an inpatient rehabilitation setting in Lawton, Oklahoma. The selected candidate will work alongside a multidisciplinary therapy team to support patient recovery, mobility, and rehabilitation goals.

Inpatient rehabilitation experience is preferred. The role may occasionally require floating to the Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with prescribed physical therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

• Support patient mobility, therapeutic exercises, and rehabilitation activities.

• Monitor patient progress and document treatments accurately.

• Communicate patient updates with the supervising Physical Therapist and multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Adapt to patient care needs across inpatient rehabilitation and, when required, the Med-Surg unit.

• Work occasional Saturdays and holidays as scheduled.

• Physical Therapist Assistant qualification.

• Appropriate Oklahoma PTA license or authorization to practice.

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience preferred.

• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Flexibility to float to the Med-Surg unit when needed.

Schedule & Assignment Details

• Contract: 13 weeks

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, with occasional Saturdays

• Hours: 36 hours per week listed in the candidate package; confirmation is recommended.

• Holiday coverage may be required during the contract.

• A weekday off may be available when working a Saturday, depending on scheduling.

• Dress Code: Red scrubs or khaki pants with a red polo.

• Overtime applies after 40 hours per week.
