Job Summary:
Surgical Technician / Operating Room Technician in Hawaii. This position involves assisting with turnover cleaning, transporting patients, and independently scrubbing various procedures such as General, Orthopedic, Vascular, Ophthalmic, Urology, ENT, Endoscopy, Robotic, Obstetrics, and Gynecology. The role requires a minimum of two years of experience in a hospital setting and adherence to all clinical and operational standards.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, approximately 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Shifts are variable based on departmental needs, currently operating from 6:45 AM to 11:15 PM, with a 20-minute call back time.
• Required Qualifications: Certification in Surgical Technology, valid Hawaii license by the start of the assignment. Candidates must have at least 2 years of scrub experience in a hospital environment.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with robotic procedures and outpatient GI lab procedures is beneficial.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Candidate must arrive the Thursday before the start date for employee health appointment on Friday.
  • A minimum of 39 shifts must be completed during the contract if RTO (requested time off) is needed.
  • Orientation on day shift for up to one week or as determined by management.
  • This position requires adherence to hospital dress code; scrubs are provided.
  • The role involves typical surgical assisting activities in a busy, small operative environment with 1-2 rooms operating simultaneously.
