Quick Facts Location: Portsmouth, VA (on-site at multiple clinic locations) Start Date: 10/05/2026 End Date/Duration: 09/30/2030 Shift: Monday–Friday, daytime hours (specific shift hours vary by location) Hours/week: 40 hours Employment Type: Full-time Licensure/Certifications: MD/DO from an accredited medical school, active unrestricted license, valid DEA, BLS, Board Certified in Family Practice Experience: Minimum 1 year recent family practice experience within the last 2 years Pay & Benefits Hourly pay rate: $135.00 Weekly pay via direct deposit Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated support team committed to your success What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive primary care services to diverse patient populations Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses in a military healthcare setting Conduct preventive health assessments and screenings Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in care planning Document clinical encounters accurately and maintain compliance with protocols Support patient education and health promotion activities What You Need MD/DO degree from an accredited institution Unrestricted medical license in Virginia Board certification in Family Practice (ABFM or equivalent) At least 1 year recent family practice experience Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to perform full scope of family medicine services, including emergency procedures is preferred About the Assignment This full-time position is based at a leading healthcare facility in Portsmouth, VA, supporting Naval Medical Center Portsmouth and associated clinics.
