Mammography Technologist

The Radiology / Cardiology Mammography Technician is responsible for performing mammography imaging procedures using Hologic equipment to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The role includes preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging machinery, and ensuring high-quality imaging results. Strong technical skills and familiarity with biopsy procedures are preferred. The technician will work collaboratively with healthcare teams to provide exceptional patient care and support diagnostic services. Responsibilities:

• Perform mammography imaging procedures using Hologic equipment.
• Prepare patients for imaging exams and explain procedures to ensure comfort and understanding.
• Operate and maintain imaging machinery and ensure equipment is functioning properly.
• Assist with biopsy procedures as needed.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of imaging results.
• Collaborate with radiologists, cardiologists, and other healthcare professionals to support diagnostic processes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with hospital policies.

• Experience with Hologic mammography equipment.
• Knowledge of mammography imaging techniques and patient care.
• Ability to work scheduled shifts Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 08:00 to 17:30.
• Certification or licensure relevant to mammography technology as required by state or employer.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Biopsy procedure experience.
• Prior experience in radiology or cardiology imaging departments.

• No on-call, weekend, or block schedule requirements.
• Shift schedule is fixed: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 08:00 to 17:30.
• Floating between units is not required.

• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 08:00 to 17:30 shifts.
• No weekend or on-call shifts.
