Seeking a Direct Support Professional/DSP for a Florham Park position to assist an individual with a variety of tasks that include, but are not limited to: assistance with food shopping, organizing, assisting with apartment tasks like going through the mail, and other tasks that might come up.  The ideal Direct Support Professional/ DSP is someone who can partner with getting what they need done.   

The role of the Direct Support Professional/ DSP will report to the individual, and the ideal candidate should be outgoing, encouraging, open-minded, creative, person-centered, and must be willing to travel for the role (20 miles of driving per month). The ideal Direct Support Professional/ DSP should expect to be active and be able to go for walks or to the gym.

Schedule of Services:

• Tuesdays and Thursdays 1:30 pm- 3:30/ 4:00 pm

• Pay Rate: $25

Qualifications:

• Must be willing to accept people for who they are and not as a label.

• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. A college degree or being in college is a plus.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and good driving record.

• Must be willing to pass a background check.

• Must be willing to pass a drug screening.

• Is authorized to legally work in the United States.
