We will rely on your exceptional work ethic to be responsible for working on new construction projects and maintaining existing underground and overhead facilities. This posting has been designated by the Company as a "Hard-to-Fill" position and therefore is eligible for a $20,000 signing bonus under the terms and conditions of the executed LOMA dated September 4, 2026.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Completed a Registered Journeyman Lineman Apprenticeship Program or an equivalent training program (as approved by APS T&D Technical & Safety Training) PLUS one year experience as a Journeyman Lineman
• Commercial Driver's License (Class "A") with ability to meet all DOT requirements.
• Must live within reasonable distance of headquarters (one (1) hour).
• Must pass written and hands-on exam, and successfully demonstrate climbing skills.

Travel reimbursement may be available for out of state candidates. Requires working with aerial equipment, which have weight restrictions of 300 pounds or less DOT Requirement: A new DOT exam will be performed with an APS nurse practitioner within 2 weeks of being hired, candidates will need to come prepared for the DOT exam, by bringing the following items:

• List of all medication, including the dosage.
• If diabetes, a record of their most recent Hgb A1C.
• The a1c must be a printed-out lab copy and not only available to view on a smart device such as a cell phone.
• If using insulin, bring insulin dependent treatment form.
• If sleep apnea, a report from CPAP machine showing proper use. This must be printed out and cannot be available to view on a smart device such as a cell phone.
• If seeing the specialists (Cardiologist, Neurologist or other Specialty doctor), candidates will need to bring a clearance letter advising the doctor is aware of diagnosis and individual is a DOT driver and good to drive.

Role Type Onsite: Requires work to be performed in the field and/or at an APS facility. Depending on the responsibilities of the role, this may include, but is not limited to, working at a power plant, job site, or in the community. *Employees are expected to reside in Arizona (or New Mexico for Four Corners-based employees). *Role types are subject to change based on business need. Eligibility: Must live or relocate within reasonable distance to the headquarters. Reasonable distance is defined as one (1) hour for Metro and State Region locations. Reasonable distance for Troublemen, Local Representatives, and Substation Technicians is defined as thirty (30) minutes for Metro locations and forty-five (45) minutes for State Region locations. For jobs in departments (System, Reliability, Hotstick) that require the majority of the work be performed out-of-town and as such, employees/crews are not required to report to the established headquarters unless directed by Leadership; the reasonable distance requirement will be waived.*. * This will not apply to Troublemen, Local Representatives or Substation Technicians.
