Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examinations to assist in diagnosing medical conditions. Every day you will prepare patients for scans, operate advanced MRI equipment, ensure patient safety in the magnetic environment, and accurately capture detailed anatomical images. To be successful, you will demonstrate expert technical proficiency in MRI, meticulous attention to detail for image quality and safety, and excellent patient communication to ensure a comfortable and effective diagnostic experience.

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma (required)
  • Associate's Degree in Healthcare field or Imaging Studies (preferred)
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (R) at time of hire, then maintain as current (required)
  • ARMRIT (American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists) certification or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT (MR) at time of hire or within 9 months of hire/transfer, then maintain as current (required)
  • Certified by the state of Texas MRT within 9 months of hire/transfer (required)
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association (required)

Minimum Experience:

  • Previous MRI experience preferred
