Department: Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center - Nursing: Day Hospital (34318) Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 36 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Day Shift Three 12 hour shifts per week Pay Range: $38.20 - $57.30 Location: Winston‑Salem, NC, United States Where You Will Work 5CC East Day Hospital (32 beds). Day Hospital is a fast‑paced 32‑bed medical‑surgical short‑stay unit serving nearly every service. The unit also has a 4‑chair infusion suite. Nurse‑to‑patient ratio: 1:4 on day shift, 1:5 on night shift. We’re Looking For Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification (American Heart Association) At least one year RN experience What You’ll Do Play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care per‑established standards, policies, and procedures. Use evidence‑based practice, clinical decision‑making, compassion, and skillful communication to lead efforts that create the safest patient environment and best experience across the continuum.
