Riverside Dental is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist to join our team in Butler, KY. In this role, you will provide essential preventive and therapeutic dental care while building trust with our patients. Requirements

Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
Licensure: Valid State Licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH).
Location: Ability to commute to or relocate to Butler, KY 41006 prior to starting work.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) management and X-ray equipment.
Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, patient-focused approach.

Job Description

Clinical Care: Conduct thorough dental cleanings, periodontal treatments, and oral examinations using appropriate tools and techniques.
Patient Assessment: Assess and document patients oral health status, including taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and performing oral cancer screenings.
Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations to improve long-term health.
Technology Management: Utilize dental software (Dentrix or CareStack) for patient records management and operate medical imaging/X-ray equipment.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain strict aseptic techniques to ensure a safe, hygienic environment in accordance with OSHA and HIPAA regulations.
Collaboration: Collaborate with the dentist to develop treatment plans based on specific patient needs and preferences.
Professional Development: Stay updated on dental terminology, industry advancements, and best practices to provide the highest standard of care.
