Position Overview

We’re looking for a fast, consistent, and detail-oriented line cook who can execute high-quality Italian dishes under pressure. This is not a “just show up and cook” job—you’re expected to move with urgency, maintain standards, and take pride in every plate that leaves the window.

Core Responsibilities

• Execute menu items consistently according to Dovini standards
• Work assigned station (grill, sauté, pasta, prep) with speed and accuracy
• Maintain clean, organized, and stocked station at all times
• Follow recipes, plating specs, and portion control exactly
• Communicate clearly with expo and team during service
• Handle high-volume service while maintaining food quality
• Assist with prep work, including sauces, proteins, and vegetables
• Properly label, date, and store all food items (FIFO)
• Maintain food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Clean down station and kitchen thoroughly after each shift

Qualifications

• Previous line cook experience preferred (1–3 years ideal)
• Experience in Italian or high-volume kitchens is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50+ lbs
• Flexible schedule (nights, weekends, holidays required)
