S3 Index develops software responsible for durability and availability of key-value metadata. We tackle some of the hardest computer science problems. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services. Key job responsibilities- Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative products and services to market.- Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.- Work with other team members to investigate design approaches, prototype new technology and evaluate technical feasibility.- Take feature specifications and deliver working code that is maintainable and extendable.- Build distributed storage, index, and query systems that are scalable, fault-tolerant, low cost, and easy to manage/use.- Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.- Work in an agile environment to deliver high-quality software.About the teamAWS values diverse experiences. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
