Roofing Division General Manager

Location: Illinois | Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2 Base Salary: $80,000–$100,000 + Performance-Based Compensation

We’re looking for an experienced roofing professional who is ready to take the next step in their career and lead an established operation with room to grow.

As Roofing Division General Manager, you’ll oversee daily operations, lead and develop the team, support sales growth, and ensure projects are completed efficiently and profitably. You’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the business while working with the support of an established corporate office, marketing team, and customer pipeline.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on leader who understands the roofing industry, knows how to get results through people, and wants to help build a successful, growing operation.

What You’ll Do

• Lead Operations: Oversee daily roofing operations, field activities, and project execution to keep jobs running smoothly.
• Drive Growth: Support roofing and chimney sales, identify new opportunities, and help turn incoming leads into profitable business.
• Manage Projects: Monitor schedules, quality, budgets, and job profitability while addressing issues before they become larger problems.
• Develop the Team: Lead, coach, and hold sales and field personnel accountable for performance.
• Improve Performance: Establish clear expectations and use key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure results and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Build for the Future: Improve processes, strengthen team performance, and help expand the roofing division as the business grows.

We want a leader who understands what it takes to run a successful roofing operation and can balance people, projects, sales, and profitability.

You’ll be a strong fit if you have:

• Experience in the roofing industry, preferably in a leadership or management role.
• A background in roofing operations, project management, sales, or production.
• Experience leading, coaching, or managing a team.
• An understanding of job costs, project profitability, scheduling, and quality control.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• The ability to hold people accountable while building a positive, productive team.
• A self-motivated, results-oriented approach and an interest in growing a business.

Experience across both roofing sales and operations is valuable, but we’re especially interested in leaders who can demonstrate strong results and the ability to develop people and processes.

Compensation & Opportunity

• Base salary of $80,000–$100,000 , based on experience.
• Additional performance-based compensation tied to results.
