Where is the work: On-Site (5 days) Position Store Team Leader, Residential Parts & Supply Store (Trane Supply). You will be responsible for the successful management and leadership of a Trane Supply Store and warehouse facility, leading a team of customer sales associates, warehouse technicians and other specialty positions based on local market, product offerings and other factors. The Store Leader is responsible for the management of overall operations and sales, understanding local markets and product representation, and leading and developing the store team. Responsibilities Lead the team by fostering a customer-focused culture and build strong relationships with key customers, achieved by effectively executing Trane Technologies RMX program. Develop and coach a strong, diverse team to achieve performance goals and business results in both warehouse and retail store. Develop and execute annual operating plans for the store. Prepare and analyze business forecasts and reports, conduct audits and reviews to ensure business processes and financial compliance. Manage store operations to ensure follow-through, productivity, and quality in standard work and processes. Oversee store inventory program to maintain inventory levels that support customer availability and reduce Obsolete Slow Moving Inventory (OSMI). Forecast requirements and provide input to the SIOP (Sales Inventory Operations Planning) process. Maintain showroom appearance and stay current on market trends and products. Occasionally operate a forklift and lift up to 50 lbs. Qualifications / What you will bring Two years supervisory experience, preferably in a retail setting, with proven sales experience and ability to build customer relationships. Results-driven, strong team player with ability to maintain high energy in challenging situations. Proficiency in an inventory management system or retail sales program; strong computer skills are a plus. Associate’s (AA) degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. GED or High School Diploma required. Candidates without a 4-year degree are encouraged to apply; emphasis on practical experience and alignment with leadership principles. Basic understanding of Lean Principles. Valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations in the previous 3 years (restrictions apply as described). Compensation & Benefits Annual Base Salary Range or Hourly Base Pay Range: $62,500.00 - $124,215.00; compensation type: Exception; incentive eligible: Yes; sales commission eligible: No. Disclaimer: Compensation will depend on factors such as seniority, merit, geographic location, education, experience, travel requirements, and union designation. Benefits may vary by region, business alignment, union involvement, and employee status. Benefits kick in on DAY ONE, including health insurance and holistic wellness programs with generous incentives. Family building benefits include fertility coverage and adoption/surrogacy assistance. 401K match up to 6%, plus an additional 2% core contribution = up to 8% company contribution. Paid time off: 15 vacation days, 9 paid holidays, 3 floating holidays, sick leave, and options to support volunteer and parental leave.
